Fees

My fee is $180 per session for individual therapy and $200 for relationship therapy. Payment for sessions are due either before (via e-transfer) or at the beginning of each session. A written receipt will be provided with each payment. 

OHIP does not pay for therapy services provided by a Registered Social Worker. OHIP will pay for psychotherapy if you see a psychiatrist. Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Registered Social Workers are not covered by OHIP but may be covered by some insurance plans. 
 

DURATION

People sometimes ask me “How long are your sessions and how long and how often will you see me for”? Each individual session is for 50 minutes and relationship sessions are 60 minutes. Depending on the types of issues you are dealing with, therapy may be short-term or longer term. Together we can collaborate to figure out a plan based on financial considerations as well as what you would most benefit from at this time in your life. Most people attend sessions weekly and we can discuss this when we first meet.
