Going to therapy is like taking a course on yourself.

Therapy can provide an opportunity to re-story the narrative we hold close about our life - the story that others (often our family) may tell about us. The story that often no longer fits who we are and want to be. Therapy can provide us a chance to speak our own narratives for our lives rather than being confined by the way others view us.  In therapy, we can find our own voice.

We live in complex worlds faced with all sorts of problems and oppressions that lie just beneath the surface. Through a safe and collaborative relationship, therapy can help you surface and explore the impact of your experiences. With these insights, and support, therapy can help you to change aspects of your life that are causing you stress and suffering. Therapy can lift the burden of our often complex and nuanced lives and provide understanding, healing, direction, clarity and hope.

I do believe that therapy is a gift to your current self, to your relationships and to your future self.
